MESA participated in a regional competition last week at UC Santa Cruz.  The following students competed and placed.  Congratulations to Mansi Patel for placing in solo math, which is similar to a practice SAT and the egg express where she wrapped and dropped an egg from a three story drop.  Also congrats to Arzan Kermani, Julian Arrechavala, and Chris Kyles for lego robotics where their robot competes in a sumo wrestling match with another robot.  To win the competition, a robot has to knock down the competitor’s robot.  If you are interested in MESA, see Mr. Tugman room 410.
