Mrs. Sagouspe is the Newest Art Teaching Sensation

Greg Schaefer, Reporter

Mrs. Sarah Sagouspe joins the Art Department at Los Banos High School, after teaching throughout Los Banos Unified School District since 2016. She teaches more of the general understanding of art and art history.

Before becoming this year’s art teacher, Sagouspe was on campus as the Success 101 teacher last year, and then even before that, she was a substitute teacher since 2016. Prior to teaching, Sagouspe was in the museums field studies for 17 years.  She was a California Association of Museums as a Program Manager and planned a complete total of planned conferences for 700+ museum professionals in the state, seminars, and workshops.  She worked throughout museums in California such as San Diego, San Francisco, Santa Cruz, Modesto, and Los Banos.

Mrs. Sagouspe will always have her love of museums, but she wanted a change in her life, which lead her to teaching.

Mrs. Sagouspe lives in Los Banos as part of the third generation of her family, and still takes an active part as an advisory member of the Millkien Museum Society in the community.

Be sure to welcome her to our campus in room 508.
