Future Famers of America (FFA) students attended the 2023 Valley Builders Trades Day Event – A Day for Construction Career Exploration! on January 18 at the Exhibitor Halls of Stanislaus County Fairgrounds.

The Trades Day event is designed to introduce youth to a variety of career opportunities in the industry including general construction, sub-contracting, suppliers, heavy equipment, engineering, and the related trades.  The event featured hands-on experiences and demonstrations in the areas. 

Students were able to learn and gain a lot of knowledge that will help them make a decision for their futures before leaving high school.  Some trades need a college education and others could be paid to start right after graduation.
