As the 2021 school year comes to a close, graduation is right around the corner. Graduation will be June 12, and it will be split into two ceremonies, one at 10:30 a.m. and one at 1:00 p.m.

The reason behind the decision to make two different ceremonies was because of COVID guidelines in the state of California. These include wearing masks, proper distancing, sanitation between ceremonies and more.

Students will have graduation practice on June 11, the last day of school for the 2020-2021 school year. The Learning Director, Mr. Matthew Rotondi said to make sure seniors attend the practice in order to attend the ceremony.

Students will meet in the MPB room before the two ceremonies. For the first group whose ceremony is at 10:30 a.m., they have to be at school by 9:00 a.m. and for the students whose ceremony is at 1:00, they have to be at school 11:30 p.m.

Many seniors are thankful to experience a ceremony after a year full of troubling times and missed school events.
