Mr. Drake Cook left teaching at Pacheco High in order to return to his alma mater to teach in our math department.

Cook is one of the newest teachers not just at this campus but just in general. This year will be his second full year of teaching.

Mr. Cook was born and raised in Los Banos and even went to high school here on this very campus. After high school, he attended CSU Fresno State.  After graduation, he started his teaching career by subbing for different classes.  He was hired at Pacheco before transferring here.

Cook would say others would describe him as an outdoorsy, easygoing jokester who considers his best quality and strength is making connections.

Cook states that his family overall is very outdoorsy. Outside of teaching, Cook enjoys hunting and wake surfing.

In addition, Cook enjoys football and is an avid 49ers fan. He stated if he could go anywhere, he would go to Alaska.

Some words of encouragement Cook would give is “Don’t give up.”
