Ms. Araceli Anguiano joins the Los Banos high  school Spanish Department as a new teacher this year. It is Ms Anguiano’s first year teaching at Los Banos high school. Ms. Anguiano went to high school in Atwater and after graduating, she received her higher education and degree at CSU Stanislaus.

Before teaching, Anguiano was a Spanish tutor for younger students for five years. When asked what inspired her to become a Spanish teacher, she stated, “I want my students to know that they can know more than one language and being bilingual opens up more opportunities when they are looking for future careers or also they can travel around the world and explore the Spanish culture.”

Anguiano is excited about being part of this campus.  She said, “This is my first year at the school; however, I think it has a good environment for the students to learn.”

Anguiano also stated, “The other Spanish teachers are great mentors and are supportive.”

During her free time, Ms. Anguiano enjoys going on morning runs, so make sure to run on over to room 37 to give Ms. Anguiano a warm Tiger welcome!
