Local Tiger Student in Stanford Hospital
Tigers always stick together!
October 14, 2022
In the past week, LBHS staff has been notified about a senior student, Weslee Allison, who is currently undergoing chemotherapy at Stanford Hospital.
Once staff found out about Weslee’s circumstances they immediately got to planning. Ms. Patino, the ASB teacher, started gathering students to send out letters of encouragement and a get well video to Weslee and his family.
Mr. Leonard, science teacher asked all of his classes to send words of encouragement and positive comments through a google form. He proceeded to add all of the comments to a banner made for Weslee. This banner was presented to the parents.
“I told them it wasn’t extra credit, there was no points given, it was just there if they wanted to write something.”
It is very sentimental to see students come together and support one another without even knowing the circumstance they are going through. Fellow peers are constantly sending love and support to Weslee and his family after hearing about his battle and it will not stop until we win.
Proud to be a Tiger. We will update this article on his progress.
