Look around in October and you will probably see Christmas!  According to the stores and many homeowners, Christmas cannot come soon enough.  Stores are decorated with Christmas decorations even before Thanksgiving day. That’s right, over a month before Christmas day, we are decorated and ready for Christmas. What is the point of being ready for Christmas so early anyways?

Some people would say that it’s just businesses encouraging people to spend money on presents earlier in the year. Maybe, it’s to put some positive moods in this busy and stressful world. I dislike the idea of celebrating weeks before the day of the celebration. Even houses are decorated for Christmas well over a month before the holiday. 

Don’t get me wrong. I love Christmas, but it gets annoying after a whole two months of Christmas. The Christmas feeling should last throughout the year because so much joy can’t be kept in only one day. But please, stop the decorations, the music, and selling Christmas so early in the year.  We know when Christmas happens. A month is all that is needed, please.
