FFA students attended the 2023 Merced County Career & Technical Fair – A Day for Career Exploration.
The Trades Day event was designed to introduce youth to a variety of career opportunities in the industry including general construction, sub-contracting, suppliers, heavy equipment, engineering, and the related trades. The event featured hands-on experiences and demonstrations in the areas.
Students learned and gained knowledge that will help them make a decision for their futures before leaving high school. Some trades need a college education and others could be paid to start right after high school.
