California Scholarship Federation (CSF) update.
CSF is an organization that celebrates and rewards high school students for their academic accomplishments. It’s not just a club, but a community where students can engage in meaningful community service activities. Plus, being a member comes with perks like special recognition at graduations and access to a wide range of scholarships. It’s a fantastic opportunity to make a difference and unlock more opportunities for your future.
The club meets monthly. The first one introduced CSF and mentioned application deadlines. To become a member of CSF, there’s a joining fee of $10. If you missed the deadline for this semester’s applications on October 18, don’t worry! You’ll have another chance to submit your application next semester.
To qualify as a CSF student, students must have excellent grades and cannot have any D’s or F’s. It’s a great way to reward hardworking students for their academic achievements.
Officers for this club are Grant Jones as President, Larry Borelli as Vice president, Brokton Borelli for Secretary and Mariah Washington as Treasurer.
Grant Jones said, “Running for president in the California Scholarship Federation club can be a great opportunity to develop leadership skills, make a positive impact on the club, and contribute to the academic community.”
He added, “Running for president in the California Scholarship Federation club is a fantastic idea for students. It allows them to take leadership roles, develop important skills like communication and organization and make a meaningful impact on their academic community. Plus, it’s a great way to meet new people and create lasting connections.”
At graduation, CSF students receive a special seal on their diploma, a unique certificate, and they also have the privilege of sitting in the front row. Not only that, but their names are called first during the ceremony. It’s such a special and well-deserved recognition!
