Senior Grad Night deposits are happening now!

On June 5, 2024 participating senior Tigers will be taking a trip to Disneyland for Grad Nite. With ASB the total price is $335 with a $35 deposit and without ASB the total price is $350 and a $50 deposit. 

The group will leave school at 8:00 a.m. and arrive at Disney around 1:00 p.m. From there they have seven hours to spend at Disneyland and then at 8 p.m. they go to California Adventure Park and at 9:00 p.m. California Adventure Park closes to the public and only stays open to the students there for Grad Nite. They don’t leave the park until 1:00 a.m. to start heading home. 

Some students are grabbling with the cost of the event and whether they should pay this big amount for one event.  ASB teacher, Mr. Frank Leonard said, “Sometimes you just have to try it, put yourself out there and you’re going to have a lot of fun.  It’s an experience you’re never going to have again, so don’t miss out.”

This is a great opportunity for seniors to make memories with their classmates before they graduate and celebrate their success and essentially their graduation as this event is for them, aka GRAD NITE.

Many students on campus are excited to create new memories on this trip, but aren’t too pleased with the price of the event. Ramon Mondragon (12) stated, “I’m excited about spending time with friends and the bus ride might be funny. Just having a good time and making good memories.”

Cade Torres (12) said, “To be honest, I can get the tickets for cheaper, but it’s for the memories, so I’d say it’s worth it.”

Mr. Leonard is still accepting deposits until all the spots are full.  The longer you wait to place a deposit the higher it will be, if you have any questions, you can go to room 747 and talk to him there.
