Empty Bowls Fundraiser Set for Next Week
January 20, 2017
The 7th Annual Empty Bowls fundraiser is a nationwide event that raises money for unfortunate people who don’t have the money to be safe, warm, and fed. This year’s event will be on Tuesday, January 24th at the Ted Falasco from 4:30 to 7:00.
People who attend will enjoy soup and piece of french bread with tickets costing $15 for adults and $10 for children ages 6-12. Several different soups are donated by businesses, restaurants, and community individuals.
In addition, people who attend the event will be able to select a handmade ceramic bowl made by students at Los Banos High and Pacheco High to take home. Between both schools, students have created over 400 bowls for this event. Each bowl is uniquely created and painted by students and then glazed to finish it off.
Come and select your personal bowl choice and enjoy a warm bowl of soup this winter and wet season.
