Dune: Part Two has recently hit our local cinema on March 1 and has made some positive noise around the world as a movie that movie goers can’t miss.
Dune: Part Two is a continuation of the film Dune in 2021, however as someone who has watched the newly released movie and debut film, the story plot did explain what the audience may have missed in the first film.
The filmography was something an audience has not seen before. As someone who loves all different types of genres of movies and shows, Dune: Part Two isn’t like Star Wars or Star Trek movies. This film is something made in its own way that has never hit the big screen before. The movie does include some very well-known and popular actors and actresses including: Timothee Chalamet, Josh Brolin, Florence Pugh, Zendaya, Christopher Walken, Dave Bautista and Javier Bardem. With this stacked cast in a single movie, it has become a must-watch movie that no one should miss out on.
Dune: Part Two brings a lot of action from giant worms to knife fights. It has it all. Even though the storyline seems to be completely impossible to relate to, the characters portrayed by the actors and actress are very relatable. The movie has some fantastic shots of fictional planets and all the different spaceships that were mind blowing and just unbelievable to look at. It felt as if the actual movie were filmed on an actual different planet to make so many beautiful scenes.
The movie is two hours and 46 minutes long which is pretty lengthy, but for the experience I had with watching the movie, it did not feel like a nearly three hour movie.
Dune: Part Two wasn’t all that perfect as I felt there was so much going on as it kept shifting to many different characters throughout the film, but personally, I see it as a positive as a fan. However, most people see it as a negative as it is hard to keep up.
Overall, I do believe it is a movie worth watching and one of the best films I have ever seen and I cannot wait until it is available so I can watch it again.
