Star Wars Episode III: Revenge of the Sith is an action packed science fiction adventure about the Dark Side of the Force overcoming young Anakin Skywalker.
In this episode it had been three years since the Clone Wars began. The audience see Anakin Skywalker and General Obi Wan Kenobi on the move to rescue Chancellor Palpatine as he has been captured by General Grievous and his fleet. As Palpatine is rescued, Grievous escapes. Kenobi, and Skywalker are separated. The duel between Count Dooku, a former Jedi Master and Anakin Skywalker is shown where Anakin kills Dooku under Palpatine’s orders and the new bond between Vader and Palpatine begins.
I like the start of the story as it builds the downfall of Anakin from the start. He portrays himself as a modest Jedi knight but is troubled by his emotions and power. Anakin is seen as a relatable character to people due to his story of becoming Darth Vader. Everytime I watch this movie, I hope for a different outcome of Anakin defeating Obi-Wan and Anakin’s story begins, but I’m quick to realize the very same ending as usual.
What makes this movie special is that it’s the third movie of the prequels in the Star Wars Saga. The movie shows the fall of Anakin Skywalker as he becomes Darth Vader. This continues the story line into Episode IV: A New Hope.mat. What I like most about this movie is the battle between Obi Wan Kenobi and Anakin Skywalker. This is what takes the movie to the ten scale when rating due to the perfect acting and storyline. I enjoy the camera angles of the fight scene because it makes it more dramatic along with the location of Mustafar.
I recommend watching this movie as well as the entire Star Wars Saga as it is a well thought and drawn out story that takes place in a galaxy far, far, away.
