Tiger senior swim night took place on April 5 at Pacheco High School pool for all senior varsity swimmers. The Tiger swimmers took on the Ceres Bulldogs as their last home meet for the season.
The Tigers did beat out the Bulldogs, 122-8 for the girls team and 127-10 and the boys team.
All senior varsity swimmers were given posters and buckets of sweets as they walked with their families that night. Every single senior gave a speech about their experience and their gratitude for the coaches and the team.
Varsity swimmer Kali Goodger (12), gave her experience as a Tiger swimmer, “I’ve been swimming for three years and my favorite memory is the relay meets we had in Johansen this year. I liked trying new strokes and making friends from other schools. My favorite part was getting to be with my friends for an extra two hours each day and doing yoga poses underwater while messing around.”
Varsity Swimmer Cade Torres (12), detailed how his last and first season of swimming went, “I wanted to give something new a try and decided to do swimming since I already had so many friends doing it. I definitely enjoyed the swim meets where I made more memories with my friends. I am going to miss the team more than the sport, but I wished I joined the team earlier to gain experience and be better.”
