Los Banos has a newly opened location called Soya Tea Lounge that offers a variety of drinks, from smoothies and teas with their main attraction, delicious boba. Soya Tea Lounge is located in the same parking lot as Tractor Supply and Dollar Tree.
I attended the new place and was warmly welcomed into the atmosphere of the business. The walls were decorated with flowers and pretty pieces of furniture. Walking in, it was peaceful with piano music playing in the background and people sitting in a lounge area with a couch in the middle of the room. Their employees were very friendly for my first visit and gave me suggestions for their many different drinks.
The employee placing my order said their most popular drink was called, “Oolong Milk Tea.” As delicious as that one sounded, I ordered “The Dirty Drink” instead. The drink consisted of a brown sugar latte with brown sugar boba. It was very delicious and refreshing when I got it because the drink was very cold. My drink was very flavorful and was a perfect temperature.
My friend, Chantelle Augustine (12), joined me on my first visit to this establishment. Augustine ordered a honeydew green tea called, “Papy In Pink,” with jelly boba which was a very beautiful pink drink that had heart-shaped boba in the cup. She said, “Mine tasted good. It tasted mainly like strawberries. I love the strawberry jelly boba in it, but it could probably use some more ice.”
When we thought they did not have anything to snack on, they sure enough had something called, “Hong Kong Egg Waffles.” These are a must try! It is a uniquely shaped waffle that is very filling to share with a friend. The place served it with a cup of their homemade cream cheese which adds lots of flavor to it.
All in all, this place was great for being brand new. Their customer service was great and helpful, along with having super cute cups and packaging. The atmosphere when walking inside felt very peaceful and aesthetically pleasing. For very affordable prices as well, the drinks were very tasteful! Each drink is about $6.75 and if customers add any customizations to it, it is an additional $0.50 cents. I found it cool how they had some dairy free and caffeine free options as well with their drinks.
I would recommend Soya Tea Lounge for refreshing drink options.
