Located in Southern California, San Diego State University stands as a beacon of academic excellence and innovation. As one of the largest universities in the state, SDSU boasts a vibrant campus community, renowned faculty, and a rich history of fostering intellectual growth and cultural diversity. With its coastal setting, students get to enjoy beaches, great weather, and lots of fun stuff to do outside of class. It’s an amazing place to further one’s education as well as enjoy time in college.
For these reasons, this is why San Diego State stood out to me when I was deciding where to attend for college.
One of the main reasons I chose to select SDSU to further my education was because they offered many opportunities to earn scholarship money and grants. The college even has a program where if students get a job on campus, they can earn up to $6,000 as a grant and that’s not even including the university grant that they give students based on their financial situation. So financially wise, they are really helpful to where students could possibly not have any debt after completing their education there.
At SDSU, classes cover a wide range of subjects, providing students with diverse learning opportunities. Taught by experienced faculty, classes emphasize critical thinking and hands-on learning. Students benefit from small class sizes and access to state-of-the-art facilities. With support services available, SDSU ensures students have the resources they need to succeed academically and prepare for their future careers. This is a really important factor for me because I personally learn much better with teachers who are more experienced and willing to help as well as teach with hands-on learning. Academic support services and a dedicated faculty who help students thrive academically is truly important to my decision to attend this college. I want to have a well-rounded college experience.
San Diego State University has a vibrant student life with over 300 student organizations, lively campus events, and a scenic setting. SDSU’s spirited athletic programs provide exciting entertainment. This was also another main motive because I love sports and seeing how the atmosphere is surrounding sports just made me want to go there more.
SDSU gives numerous opportunities to learn, grow, and make lasting memories during time on campus, ranging from exploring the outdoors to immersing in city life. These are all some of the many reasons that I, myself have committed to SDSU to major in Business Real Estate.
