Seniors accepting and planning to attend college is an exciting time. It’s a whole new chapter in their lives filled with new experiences, friendships, and opportunities.
Going to college allows seniors to pursue their passions, gain knowledge in their chosen field, and prepare for their future careers. It’s a chance for them to grow personally and academically, and to discover their true potential. Plus, college campuses are buzzing with energy and there are so many activities and clubs to get involved in. It’s a time of growth, independence, and making memories that will last a lifetime.
The choices of colleges is widespread among our seniors. Some students are staying in state and others are planning on moving to colleges out of state. Some are going to a four year college, and others at a community college.
Diana Meza (12) is going to San Jose State for the 2024 – 2025 term. She’s going to major in Physics and with a concentration in Astronomy and Music Composition/Conducting. She wants to be an astronomer or astrophysicist and research celestial bodies, and she also has a love for music, so she’d like to conduct symphonies and write her own music.
Aylin Mena (12) is going to UC Irvine and she is going to major in political science in order to pursue her law career in the future. Law school is all about studying the law, learning legal principles, and preparing for a career in the legal field. She wants to become an attorney/lawyer to later on become a judge. She’s on the way to reaching her goals.
Katie Vu (12) is going to attend UC Merced and major in psychology, in order to become an occupational therapist or psychiatrist.
Alejandra Morales (12) is going to San Diego State University to major in international business to become an international business lawyer in the future.
Haniel Melgar (12) is going to California State San Francisco and is going to major in physics. She wants to become a medical doctor.
Seniors going to college have an incredible journey ahead of them. It’s a time of growth, learning, and creating unforgettable memories.
