The golf team season has officially ended their season with some lows and some highs.
The Tigers have officially ended their season at Yocha Dehe golf course at divisionals where they fell short to Pioneer. If they would have won at divisionals, they would have advanced to masters where they only allow one team to go and six individuals. During divisionals there were 63 players in all at this event where all of them either won top three in their leagues or placed individually by scoring low in their league championships. There were three different leagues there all from the CIF-SJS section meaning the San Joaquin Section.
As for the Tigers Gannon Lemos (11) shot an 82 where he tied for seventh place but did not qualify for masters as an individual. The rest of the team Evan Rebosa (12), Larry Borrelli (12), Cole Ramos (12), Brockton Borelli (11), and Jared Van Loben Sels (11) shot in the range of 88-114, not a hot day for Tigers, but they were battling a long drive up there and visiting a top eight course in the state the Tigers had yet to face a difficult course like this.
The course was located in Brooks, California on an Indian tribe land noting the name of the golf course. The golf course is a very prestigious course where a green fee for a player is $200 on a weekend. The course had a very hilly scenery and a well kept fairway and greens. The course featured a pond and a hill top tee box.
Congratulations to the Tigers for making it to divisionals three years in a row.
