From July 21st – 23rd, Los Banos High’s new Chapter FFA Officers spent the past few days in Monterey for their officer retreat. President Jaylene Barriga (11), Vice President Zoey Wooten (11), Secretary Karley Rocha (11), Treasurer Nathan Campiotti (11), Reporter Jaci Bretz (11), and Sentinel Leah Rogers (11) spent the retreat planning events for the upcoming school year and participating in team bonding activities.
With this retreat, the team was able to come up with this year’s theme being “Blue Jackets, Gold Standards.” The officers made and designed this year’s program of activities, as well as the new t-shirts and hooded sweatshirts for this school year. They spent this time learning the ropes of each of the officer jobs and getting things mapped out, prepped and prepared for activities for this upcoming school year. As a team, they had a very productive three days and can’t wait for this year.
“I’m so excited to kick off this school year as a team, it was so nice to get to bond and work together on this upcoming year!” said President Jaylene Barriga.
