Students of different grades have different tastes in music. Whether the differentiation is the genre or the types of artists, everyone has unique preferences. Students shared their favorite albums and what they like about that album.
Senior AJ Ines: “I’m AJ, and I’m a senior. My favorite album is Short N’ Sweet by Sabrina Carpenter.
I really liked the tracks “Espresso,” and “Taste” & “Juno.” The album is really fun and perfect for summer. A very fun album.”

Junior Nathalie Serrano: “My name is Nathalie Serrano. I’m a junior, and my favorite album would probably be Taking My Time to Be by Strawberry Guy.
My favorite songs would be “Intermission,” “Mrs. Magic,” and “Without You.” The album is very calming and something students can listen to for studying or put on for background noise.”

Junior Giselle Espinoza: “My name is Gigi, and I’m in 11th grade. My favorite album right now is Rihanna’s Anti .
Her favorite three songs on this album include: “Never Ending,” “Needed Me,” and “Love On The Brain.” Espinoza said, “I like how her voice is; it’s very calming to me, especially on this album. I like her songs a lot, I’ve been listening to her since I was little.”

Senior Marcus Homer: “My name Is Marcus and I’m a senior. My favorite album is Atrocity Exhibition by Danny Brown.”
His favorite three songs on this album include: “Today,” “Downward Spiral,” and “Goldust.” “What I like about it is, it is an experimental album and it sounds weird, but it is good in my opinion and if you want to listen, I’d recommend it,” said Homer.
