Where are students going trick or treating? What is the best time to go trick or treating?
Halloween is around the corner and everyone is decorating their houses and getting ready for the spooky season. We all know that Halloween is the time of year where people get to dress up as your favorite cartoon character or dress up as somebody else, but what are students going to dress up as?
A couple of students decided to dress up as their favorite cartoon characters and other students decided to dress up as their favorite villain or superhero. The most popular costume from the students is SpongeBob. Batman is also a popular costume.
There are two types of students when it comes to trick or treating. Some prefer to go later at night due to the fact that “it’s darker and the house lights are bright,” according to Nancy Ivanec (12).
Then there are the students who like to start early because “the early bird gets the worm,” according to Cain Macias (12).
They also plan to visit the bigger houses to get the best candies because these homes tend to give out bigger candies than regular houses. Most students are also willing to walk around 5-6 miles to get their candies.
One of the best and popular trick-or-treating locations is around the high school. Students think that because there are several houses that give a good amount of candies.
Students can wear costumes to school and to the annual Trunk or Treat event offered on October 26 through ASB.
