When offered the opportunity of working as a long term sub, she immediately agreed. She believes this will furthermore improve her relationship with the staff, hoping to work with them in the close future and show what she has learned from college.

She is a former student of Curutchague, so this opportunity furthered her motivation to work for this class as its long term substitute teacher.
Flores stated, “I was a former student of Mrs. Curutchague. We have a really good bond I looked up to her a lot as a teacher and there’s been times where I needed help with my college work so I’ve asked her for help and things like that, so I said yes in a heartbeat.”
Flores is working to finish her teaching credentials program presently right now at Stanislaus State. This will be her last semester taking method courses of lectures and next semester, she will be able to start student teaching, something she’s been working really hard to accomplish.
