FFA students attended the 2024 Merced County Career & Technical Fair – A Day for Career Exploration! on October 17.
The Trades Day event was designed to introduce youth to a variety of career opportunities in the industry including general construction, sub-contracting, sports videography, sherriff, and police K9 units, suppliers, heavy equipment, engineering, and the related trades. The event featured hands-on experiences and demonstrations in the areas.
FFA students were able to learn and gain knowledge that will help them make a decision for their futures before leaving high school. Some trades need a college education, and other trades will pay students right after graduation.
