FFA students take part in projects throughout the year. Project Competition allows students with exceptional Supervised Agricultural Experiences (SAE) projects to compete against peers from 15 schools this year. Each student delivers a 15-20 minute presentation that includes a hands-on activity, demonstrating their knowledge and skills in their project area. College professors and community professionals judge their performances using a detailed rubric.
Our students put in countless hours during Pride Time and beyond, preparing speeches, refining record books, and completing applications. Their efforts truly paid off.
During a banquet on February 5 in Merced, the following recipients were awarded:
- Angelina Borelli — Silver Award
- Brokton Borelli — Gold Award
- Nathan Campiotti — Gold Award
- Addison Leonard — Silver Award
- Owen Baffunno — Silver Award
- Gia Soares — Silver Award
- Rilee McCarthy — Silver Award
Out of 84 of the best competitors representing 15 schools, only 7 scholarships were awarded. Brockton Borelli received the American Ag Credit Scholarship and Owen Baffunno received the Yosemite Farm Credit Scholarship.
Congratulations to all the winners.
