On March 20, ASB is hosting the annual Multicultural Night in the quad from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. This event will celebrate diversity, bringing together students, their families and the community for a night of culture and unity.
Many clubs will be participating in Multicultural Night, showcasing different traditions and selling food from various cultures. From previous years, multiple clubs from different cultures have prepared food for attendees to purchase and try for themselves. Various vendors and food trucks will be present selling food as well.
Last year, clubs like BSU, AAPIA, LULAC, and more set up booths providing dishes from their cultures. These club booths selling foods are serving as a fundraiser to pay for their future events.
While there will be food, it is expected to also have cultural dancers on stage as well as live music for all to enjoy and experience. Each ticket will be $1 per ticket, as the night will be a cashless event.
Multicultural night is all about inclusion and appreciation of cultures, showcasing different traditions in many ways.
ASB Member Rosie Banuelos(12) said, “This event is our way of having a night full of fun including everyone and their cultures.”
Whether you come for the food, the music, or simply to experience something new, Multicultural Night promises to be an unforgettable night for everyone.
