Prom is nearly here and students are excited to celebrate a final send-off to graduating students. But what are students planning to wear for prom? Students were interviewed and asked what they plan to wear, where they shopped for their outfits, as well as if they will be matching with someone else. 

Junior Victoria De La Torre is wearing a long sparkly lilac dress to prom. “I will be wearing a long lilac dress, the dress is sparkly.”

When asked where she shopped to find her dress she responded, “I went to Los Angeles to find my dress. I don’t remember the exact store but I found my dress in Los Angeles.” De La Torre also plans on matching with her friend, Carmello.

Senior Angelly Luque will be attending prom as this is her last year of high school. As for what she plans on wearing, Luque responded, “It’s a long red dress with rhinestones on the top, silk on the bottom, it has a slit, there’s a drape as well around the waist.”

To find her dress, she went out of town. “ I went to the Modesto mall, the store was called First Impressions.” She will be matching with her boyfriend for prom. “He will be wearing jeans, brown boots, a blazer and a red dress shirt underneath as well as a hat.”

Junior Marlene Ramos is another student attending prom and she plans on wearing a dark red dress to prom along with heels, and complimentary jewelry. “I’m wearing a long dark red dress and black stiletto heels! I’m gonna have a little silver jewelry too.”

She found her dress at a store in Windsor. “I shopped at Windsor for my dress, I forgot where my heels were from!” Marlene Is also matching with her boyfriend for prom. “I’m matching with Nathan, my prom date.”

Prom is happening, April 12 at Wolf Lakes Park in Fresno and it should be a night to remember! Whether wearing any color, matching or not, everyone will look great in whatever they decide to wear.
