ASB and the class of 2026 have worked on organizing a prom that will be held on April 12, with a lake surrounded by trees and a beautiful landscape at Wolf Lakes Park in Sanger, CA.

The class of 2026 had begun planning prom for 2025 since last year. The class of 2026 had done a tour of the venue in Sanger during March and had voted altogether to host the prom in that location.

The prom theme has been decided to be “A Night Under the Stars” to match the perfect location for the event. Although, some challenges were dealt with while organizing the prom on finding the right decorations for the special night. Nicole Curutchague (11) said, “We have dealt with finding decorations for this event although the venue itself is beautiful and making sure everyone enjoys it and has a good time.”

Despite some difficulties with the prom decorations, the student store had successfully sold over 200 tickets. Since a lot of students will be going to the prom, there will be five charter buses to transport students to the venue at 4:30 p.m. and will arrive at 6:00 p.m. and be transported back at 10:00 p.m. students must have their tickets and the 5-star app ready to get checked in.

At the venue, there will be lots of good food to eat and enjoy such as tri-tip, garlic mashed potatoes, buttered corn, and a side salad. For dessert there will be cookies and ice cream to end the night.

The prom has not been easy to organize and has taken a lot of time to figure the details out, but is worth it overall so the students can have the night of their lives and be able to create lots of memories for the juniors and seniors of 2025 and 2026.
