Summer Break is just around the corner, as school officially ends on the fifth of June, and many students might be wondering how to spend their summer in the most productive and funnest way possible, so here are some ways students can spend their time over break.
First of all, summer break is a great time to learn something new or see a new place. Students can go to a new place and travel, or if that is not possible, students can learn a new skill or hobby. Students can also do some fun summer activities outdoors or try a new activity.
Some ideas for going to a new place is to visit San Diego Zoo, Yosemite National Park, or Sequoia National Park. These places are in California and are not too far. Another option is to go to the beach, or even the Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk, which is a fun summer activity.
Sabrina Reynoso (11) stated, “Over the summer, I really enjoy going to the beach boardwalk because there are many activities and fun things to do there.”
If students do not want to go places and maybe just stay home during the summer, learning new skills and hobbies is an amazing idea. Students can learn to cook and bake, or try a new craft, such as crocheting, cross stitch, or painting and drawing.
These options are good ways to stay productive and have a lot of fun during the summer. Rather than just laying around or staying on devices, students can do other things to help with boredom over the break.
