The newest FFA members attended the annual Greenhand Leadership Conference on August 23 in Modesto.

This all-day conference for freshmen only paves the way for those interested in earning their Greenhand Degree, which opens more opportunities for degrees and future scholarships.  Students participate in various activities throughout the day with lunch provided.

They are taught the importance of having leadership skills and the opportunities within the FFA while meeting and interacting with many other first year members throughout the Central Region.
