The College Fair was last week and it was a success and the students really enjoyed it.

Some of the teachers on campus had a competition where they decorated their classroom doors with college logos. The winner was Ms. Fajardo and the college she did was UC Davis.

The other teachers that participated were Mr. Halpin and he choose to use multiple college logos and called it “Keep Calm and Plan your Future.” And Ms. Nicolette decorated her door with the University of Hawaii.

 At the college fair, there was a photo booth with a bunch of different props to use when taking pictures and they gave away lots of prizes to students who took the best pictures.

The students were able to get lots of information about all the colleges, pick up pamphlets, and ask questions. Junior Meghan Mendoza said, “ The college fair was really fun, and I got to ask lots of schools some questions.”

Mr. Magellanos, who was in charge of the college fair said, “It was very stressful to organize and plan, but it was worth it in the end, and my favorite part about the college fair was seeing all the students interact with the college admission counselors and asking questions.” He also added that he was happy “that all of the schools that said they were coming came and even some more schools that we weren’t expecting came, so that was exciting.”
