Summer vacation is a much needed break, and it’s right around the corner! We’re only a week away from sleeping in and long nights out with friends.  

There are many things to do this summer;  you just need to get out! For all you outdoor people this section will be great for you. Go to the park, lay out a blanket and just enjoy the sun. You can also go on a bike ride with friends and take in the fresh air.

If that doesn’t grab your attention then head to the nearest amusement park with friends. Nearest enjoyable amusement park from Los Banos is Great America located in Santa Clara. Since you already love the outdoors, might as well go to the beach and enjoy the view. The most common beach everyone goes to is Santa Cruz.

Now for all our indoor lovers, don’t worry, I didn’t forget you! There are countless things to do this summer without having to be in the heat. Go to a museum. Many of them have free admission and others have free days so check your calendars.

If that doesn’t sound fun enough then head on over to an arcade and see who can get the most tickets between you and your friends. Not only that, but go to a concert to watch that group or singer you’ve been dying to see! There are tons of summer jam concerts that have a variety of artist performing, just find your favorite.

But more importantly, take care of you.  Rest and relax after a year of hard work.  Get your mind and body ready because August and the start of school is just around the corner.
