New teachers have been offered positions this 2018-2019 school year,  including our new Spanish teacher,  Senora Calderon.

Caldron was born on May 17 in Michoacan, Mexico.  Before Los Banos, she was teaching at Fresno State.

She knew she wanted to be a teacher,  but when she got to the U.S., it became a driven passion to reach this goal. She was determined to become a teacher. She taught at Fresno State for six years before moving to LBHS. She graduated high school at Madera High and graduated in 2016 from Fresno State College.

In her free time she likes to spend time with family. In the future, she would like to travel to Latin America and other places in Europe.

Coldron’s first few weeks have been successful and she said that LBHS “is friendly and welcoming.”

Fanasy Nelson, a junior said, “It’s exciting to finally see the foreign language department expand with new teachers.”
