The Los Banos FFA officer team visited Groveland, California for their annual officer retreat in August. These three days were filled with leadership activities, fun at the lake, and organization for the upcoming year. Meeting recreations were planned out, banquet details were structured and new social media platforms were explored.

On the second day of the trip, huge plans were finalized such as the Greenhand and Chapter Farmer banquet and the field trip to the 2017 World Ag Expo. Proposals on FFA Week dress-up days were also decided upon. In addition, the officer team collaborated on this year’s theme which is, “We Live as Many. We Stand as One.” The importance of this message is that the officers and members of the Los Banos FFA chapter and community. T-shirts and sweatshirts acknowledge this theme were created in order for this message to spread and inspire others.

Overall, the Los Banos FFA officer team had an effective and pleasurable time in Groveland and is excited about the numerous upcoming activities, fairs, competitions, and conferences planned for the 2016-2017 school year.
