Gamers were upset recently about the outbreak involving the ending of Fortnite, an online video game developed by Epic Games released July 21, 2017. 

When logging onto the game on October 13, gamers witnessed the screen as sucked in and with it came a black hole. Fortnite players all over the globe were confused.  For players of this game, Fortnite ended season 10.

After season 10 ended, everyone believed that Fortnite ended for good. Many believed the game would not ever come back.

“I wasn’t scared when Fortnite shut off. I knew the new season came back no matter what. I mean honestly, I wasn’t expecting them to start fresh with a whole new season. I was confused for a bit seeing chapter 2,” said Ivan Barbosa (11).

Barbosa commented about a “new chapter,” saying, “It felt pretty good. It was more fun and easier to fight and eliminate enemies. It’s easier to “catch a dub” with there being “noobs” and all these new players to Fortnite.”

All the Fortnite gamers are pleased to see a new Fortnite Chapter with a new map, new vehicles and new opponents.

“I was thinking there will be better skins than last year but this season is more epic. They have an eight ball guy as a skin which I personally think is very creative, said Barbosa.

Barbosa and his brother play whether it be on PlayStation4 or Xbox. Although Ivan’s brother plays often, they are both equally skilled, and they tell each other about the new and exclusive skins. 

All the Fortnite gamers are pleased to see a new Fortnite Chapter with a new map, new vehicles and new opponents.

Barbosa commented that he has been playing, “Since season one. When I saw the trailer it looked pretty trash. I said ‘it doesn’t look too fun. I probably shouldn’t get it’ and after that my friends told me to get it. That it was fun. After hearing that I went home to download it on my PlayStation4. I played a couple games and then I stopped. When the first season came out, the skins were awesome.”
