For this year’s winter formal, LBHS decided to switch things up and host a joint dance with Pacheco High for “A Night in Vegas” theme on January 21, 2023 at the fairgrounds.  Over 500 students attended.

Both schools decided it “was a great place physically between the two schools and a community building for all to share,” as Mrs. Joanne Patino, ASB teacher, stated. This is the first time either high schools had hosted a formal at the fairgrounds.

The “Night in Vegas” theme included a photo booth, snacks and drinks, a DJ, and tons of Vegas themed decorations.

Word of a joint dance held with Pacheco had been going around for the past year, but 2023 is the year. A majority vote by both ASB students and leaders put the plan in action. Los Banos High ASB and Pacheco High ASB both value one thing: community, so bringing these two schools together made for a fun and successful night.
