Everyone loves a good movie for Valentine’s Day, here is a list of the top 5 recommended Valentine’s Day movies for couples or just to enjoy by yourself!

1. Valentine’s Day: Starring a majority of well known actors and actresses like Julia Roberts, Anne Hathaway, Bradley Cooper and Ashton Kutcher, this is a must watch of course, this 2010 film connects a small group of people through Valentine’s Day and shows how all of their chaos brings them together for a very romantic and loving movie to represent all sorts of meanings this day can have to it.

2. 10 Things I Hate About You: One of the best romcom’s from the late 90s. Definitely a teen favorite because of the way it portrays a certain high school love story. The movie follows two sisters Kat and Bianca Stratford as they go about their high school life very differently. Kat is the more introverted sister who prefers to be less like Bianca who is a lot more outgoing until Kat meets what is seemingly the perfect match for her and slowly starts to fall for him. Bianca finds what seems to be the most unexpected match. Together they explore their new relationships when Kat finds out devastating news about her new lover. I highly recommend this movie for it has intriguing and relatable aspects.

3. When Harry Met Sally; the perfect enemies to lovers story. An all-time classic romance film from the late 80s has made it way back to pop culture as of 2022 when it started receiving a great amount of attention on TikTok. This enemies to lovers movie is about when Harry (Billy Crystal) and Sally (Meg Ryan) first meet. They only know each other through mutual friends and kind of dislike each other because they seem to really have nothing in common. It shows how they go their separate ways and both go through some tough times when they meet again. This time there is more tension then before, but they decide to stay friends until they notice their true feelings between them.

4. To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before: a cute classic love story. When Lara Jean’s (Lana Condor) love letters get sent out unexpectedly to all five of her previous crushes and this gets her into some hot water. She is forced to fake a relationship for the sake of her dignity, but then she accidentally falls in love.

5. 500 Days of Summer: not a love story. This film presents the real heartbreak and love of a relationship. When Tom (Joseph Gordan-Levitt) falls in love deeply with one of his coworkers. When his coworker April (Zooey Deschanel) expresses interest in him, he decides to take it to the next level but she holds back. After a few months of being together she suddenly ends things and Tom is distraught. He then tries to look back and see where it all went wrong.
