Associated Student Body programs do not get enough recognition on how much students work behind the scenes. All 59 students in ASB both in 2nd and 3rd period ensure that sports programs are fun and creative to be at, helping fans become entertained with the decorations, etc.
This month has been crazy for ASB, they have dealt with senior nights, home games, playoff games, and the upcoming last home game on halloween night. With all that being said ASB has been on top of their jobs assuring that everything is finished on time. In addition ASB approves purchase orders for organizations on campus
To start off this crazy month ASB has been focusing on senior nights across sports, these include tennis, water polo, volleyball, cross country, and upcoming football. They endlessly have everything prepared and ready with the help of all students participating in senior night.
“Students work real hard to ensure that all events and activities are finished on time, we’ve worked before, through and after school to finish with senior posters, creativity, and quality of them to show how much we are dedicated to show our Tiger pride,” said Alfredo Valencia (12).
“We all work a part in completing anything and everything Mr. Leonard gives us, our efforts and hard work help us finish anything in front of us. Doing these assignments with friends makes it 1000 times better and more fun to finish,” said Alexander Vanderveen (12).
The readiness of ASB shows by the artistic work they give on each poster and how they let their imaginations fly high shown at each event. How does Mr. Leonard feel about the students’ efforts and determination to make another school year a fun one?
Mr. Leonard said, “Coordinating with Mr. Barton ensures we have student sections for all sports and creates special posters for each player. Also for the amount of work they have the students have been on top of their work.”
Seems like all Associated Student Body members have been pushing themselves to work overtime to finish all upcoming dates like, the rally, senior night football, and more.
In all it shows that this group of individuals have been working hard to make sure our school shows that tiger pride at events. Their preparedness has shown all year with home games, senior nights, dances, and everyday school spirit.
