The holiday season is officially arriving with the announcement of Christmas Dress-Up Week, scheduled for Dec. 15 through Dec. 19. Each day features a unique theme, giving students a chance to express their holiday spirit in creative and festive ways.
The week begins on Monday, Dec. 15, with “Baby It’s Cold Outside,” inviting students to wear their favorite ugly or Christmas sweaters. The day offers a fun start to the week, as students can wear anything from classic festive knit patterns to humorous holiday designs.
On Tuesday, Dec. 16, the theme is “Snow Fall,” and students are asked to dress in white. The intention is to create a winter-themed visual effect throughout the school.
Wednesday, Dec. 17, is designated as “Santa’s Little Helpers,” a day for students to dress as Christmas characters, including Santa, elves, and reindeer.
A friendly competition emerges on Thursday, December 18th, during “Santa vs. Grinch.” Juniors and seniors will represent Santa, while freshmen and sophomores take on the role of the Grinch.
“It’s our last year, so we’re definitely going all out,” said Jennifer Heredia (12). “It’s always fun seeing the whole school get into the spirit.”
The week concludes on Friday, December 19th, with “Jingle All the Way… to Bed,” allowing students to attend school in their pajamas. The relaxed theme provides a comfortable and festive end to the week before the holiday break.
Christmas Dress-Up Week continues to be a tradition that promotes school spirit, creativity, and community involvement, giving students an opportunity to celebrate the season together.
