Christmas is just around the corner, and students have plenty on their wishlists this year. From practical gifts to fun gadgets and cozy self-care items, students are hoping for presents that bring joy, comfort, and a little excitement.
Some students are looking for gifts they can use every day. Joanna Silva (12) said, “I really want a Dutch oven for Christmas. I’ve been trying to cook more at home, and it would make it easier.” Cooking and baking tools are becoming popular, especially with social media inspiring more students to try new recipes. Along with Dutch ovens, students are hoping for small kitchen gadgets, coffee makers, or even fun baking kits.
Other students want gifts that help them relax and take care of themselves. Micah Madera (12) stated, “I really want gifts that help me relax and take care of myself, like candles or bath products.” Self-care items, like scented candles, skincare products, cozy blankets, and journals, are trending as students try to balance schoolwork, activities, and social life.
Tech and entertainment remain popular as well. Many students hope for the latest video games, wireless earbuds, or smartwatches. Others are interested in gadgets that make everyday life easier or more fun, like phone accessories, Bluetooth speakers, or streaming service subscriptions. Clothing is also on wishlists, with hoodies, sneakers, and trendy accessories being especially popular.
Even smaller, less expensive gifts are appreciated. Many students enjoy stocking stuffers like snacks, cute stationery, or novelty items. Gift cards are another favorite because they let students choose exactly what they want.
Whether it’s a new gadget, or cozy clothes, this year’s wishlists show that high schoolers are thinking about both fun and usefulness. For students, Christmas isn’t just about getting gifts, it’s about feeling happy, relaxed, and ready for a fresh start in the new year.
