For the class of 2026 Senior prom transported students to a beautifully decorated barn, Cotton Road Ranch on April 11 from 6 – 10 p.m. The Golden Hour streamed through wooden beams and twinkling string lights. Prom 2026 marks both farewell and promise. The night was set with soft amber lights and white with golden accents, creating an atmosphere of happiness. Laughter echoed through and off the walls of the barn, friends danced, couples posing for photos. People enjoying the countryside before it started raining. It was a night of memories and milestones, for some it was to new beginnings. The barn glowed with laughter, music and the joy of being together.
Samira Brown stated, “Time stood still for a minute, for me it was a reflection of how far I’ve made it into high school, to enjoy all my achievement, friendships, and my new journey after.”
Ladies dressed to impress by embracing bold colors and sparkling embellishments with shades of solid blue, green, red, and pink, some dresses designed with rhinestones. Gentlemen with their silver accessories or added rhinestones with bold colors. The theme resonated deeply, reminding everyone to remember the fleeting moments together.
Our caterer, Mickey Fuentes, featured our menu with roasted chicken, slices of prime rib, rice, salad, green beans, and lasagna, ensuring there was something to enjoy and keep everyone full for the night. Adding the atmosphere as students dined together under amber soft light. The drink bar served soft drinks, Shirley Temples and mocktails on their menu.
Towards the end of the night students gathered on the dance floor. Mr. Joshua Smith who was our DJ filled the room with energy that was electric. The music was a mix of today’s hip-hop and throwbacks with crowd pleasing beats. Friends formed circles and hyped up the crowd.
Prom was a memorable night that we will always remember.
