Four Regional Occupational Program (ROP) students were nominated for the MCOE Award of Excellence for demonstrating exemplary performance throughout the school year. They will be recognized in Merced on April 19, 2018.

The following students were selected by their ROP teachers:

Derrick Valencia—Marketing Foundations, Ms. Austin

Daisey Briceno—Business Administrative Services, Ms. Austin

Amber Leon—Foundations in Education, Ms. Head

Rebeca Velis—Medical Occupations, Ms. Soriano

MCOE Award of Excellent recipients will be recognized with a dinner and will go on stage to receive certificates from legislative representatives: Congressman Jim Costa, Senator Anthony Canella and Assembly Member Adam Gray.  They will also receive certificates from Merced County office of Education as well as commemorative medallions and t-shirts.  Each recipient is also given two complimentary tickets for their guests to attend the award ceremony.
