LBHS has welcomed a new staff member, Nancy Olivares to their main office.

Mrs. Olivares previously worked at R.M Miano Elementary.  She lives here in town, but was born in Watsonville, California and grew up in Santa Cruz County. She shared with me that her parents are from the Azores, and she was the first born here in America. She has also been married for 18 years and has three children.

Mrs. Olivares decided to work here because of all the positive comments she had heard about the LBHS staff and students. She shared that her favorite thing about her job is working with kids. Since previously working with minors, she expressed that working with high school students is a bit different, but she still enjoys it.

Apart from working she has other activities she enjoys doing. She loves to fish and camp with her family. They go to Twain Harte and other different camping spots around our area. Also, she loves sushi so she constantly goes to Sugoi restaurant here in town.

Mrs. Olivares works all five days a week so if you have any questions that need to be answered, the main office is the way to go! You’ll be able to meet our new secretary. She is super nice and has a great attitude.

Stop in and say hello to our new staff member.
