Mr. Lafferty is a new Freshmen English  teacher this year in Room 510.His love for teaching started when  he became an assistant coach to his little sister’s soccer team.  From then on, teaching seemed natural.   While his time here at LBHS has been short, he has felt very supported by the staff.He has a positive outlook as a teacher who believes that his kind hand is the best way to teach.

Lafferty has a love for anything Disney.  He is so obsessed with his love of Disney that he could give Disney-themed curriculum.  To use part of Disney, he hopes that all students “wish upon a star.”  He finds most important in his career is helping kids frantically chase or realize their dreams because he believes “anyone can be a pretty princess, even me,” as long as you have love and creativity in your life; you are golden.
