On Wednesday April 10, twelve LBHS student attended the 39th annual Young Writers’ Conference at Fresno State University. Students had to submit creative writing manuscripts in order to attend the conference and participate in workshops at the university. Out of roughly 500 submissions, three of our students were chosen to be published in the conference journal, Spectrum, and received awards for their writing.
