Tigers basketball season has to come an end. It has been a long and hardworking season for both boys and girls basketball. The boys varsity finished with a record of 15-13 overall, and the girls varsity finished with a record of 14-3 for season.

Girls varsity ended as WAC Champs which is an outstanding performance and difficult to do. They also made it to first round of playoffs playing against Merced Bears. Although it was an upsetting loss, the girls overachieved this season. Team Captain, Sienna Hampton said, “This year was fun, and we accomplished a lot.  I hope the seniors next year pick up from where we left off and go further.”

MCOE Halftime Show took place at the Girls Varsity Senior Night. This year during halftime for the Girls Senior Night, a group of special needs kids were gathered together to play a basketball game in front of the crowd. Some things are beyond basketball and they are moments like these that matter.

Boys had a tough schedule but that did not stop them from winning games. Ending the season with a a overall of 15-13 is pretty tough to do. The Tigers won six league games in a row after an upsetting loss against Lathrop which is pretty impressive for league. The boys did not make playoffs but it was an interesting season for them and learned a lot from losses to wins.
