Tennis interview with Joseph Fagundes

Isaiah Chavez, Staff Reporter

Question 1) What made you decide to get into tennis?

A:” My friend Ethan Machado kept bugging me and telling me to come out and try it out. At first I did not want to do it, but eventually I gave in and tried it out.”

Question 2) How long have you been playing tennis?

A: “I’ve been playing tennis for four years. I started playing my freshman year.”

Question 3) What do you enjoy most about the sport?

A: “I really enjoy our games; I also like it when we have out of town tournaments, and we get to stay in airbnb’s or hotels. Especially since I’m a senior now I get a room to myself or get one of the better rooms if we have to share. I also enjoy the team; we are all friends and have a good time together.”

Question 4) What do you hope to get out of this season?

A: “Nothing too crazy. It’s senior year, and I just want to take it easy, have fun and enjoy the season as much as I can since it’ll be the last time I play.”

Question 5) What are you going to miss most about tennis?

A: “I think the thing I’ll miss most is all of the memories. All the fun times at practice and the out of town games and tournaments. That’s what I’m going to miss most.”
