LBHS has several new staff members this school year. Mr. Bencomo, our new vice principal, heard about the job from a friend and applied. He used to be the vice principal for North Salinas High School.

He received his education at San Francisco State and San Jose State. Bencomo commutes every day from Hollister to come do what he loves most. Bencomo says he loves “helping support students and being a part of an administrative team that works well together.”

Out of the office, Bencomo loves to be with his family. He has two daughters and loves to do many outdoor activities. In addition, basketball, running, and mountain bike riding are some of his favorite things to do.

Because he is passionate about his students and staff, he wants to see more students going to college and meeting the A-G requirements. Bencomo hopes to bring many great things to our campus and wants students  to strive for success.

He can be found in his office or out in the quad at lunch.  Let’s all welcome our new vice principal!
