FFA Project Competition Showcases Student Projects

On November 12, FFA students competed in a Local Project Competition.  Every year, students can demonstrate a skill or a project within the agriculture field.  Nine students who competed this year are Prishaa Vala, Brooklyn Silva, Laney Roacha, Jianna Bretz, Lily Kanemoto, Emma Van Loben Sels, Zachary McCullough, Joey Rawls, and Emma Baker.

Projects involve horses, cows, chickens, and servicing equipment.  Students created a display area of materials and presented the information and demonstrated some aspect of their project to a panel of judges.  Students selected to move to the next step will be presented with awards and a dinner in Merced some time in February.
