Samantha Carter  is going to California Polytechnic State University after graduation. She said she chose Cal Poly because she loves the area and thinks it is an amazing school.

Carter was deciding between University of California, Santa Barbara, University of California, San Diego, and Cal Poly before making her final decision. In the end, she felt Cal Poly was the best fit for her.

She plans on living on campus in a double dorm with one roommate. Carter said she is most excited about meeting new people and going to the beach on weekends.

“I am so excited to go to Cal Poly for college,” said Carter.

Carter showed how excited and how much she is looking forward to starting this new chapter and experiencing college life at Cal Poly SLO.

As graduation gets closer, Carter has been preparing to move to San Luis Obispo. Even though moving away from home can be a little scary, she is excited to become more independent and experience something new. She is looking forward to decorating her dorm and getting involved on campus.

Carter is also excited about the opportunities that college will bring her. She hopes to make new friends, learn new things, and create lots of new memories. Being in a new environment and surrounded by different people is something she feels excited about.

One thing that stood out the most to Carter about Cal Poly was the location. Since the school is so close to the beach, she is excited to spend time outside and enjoy the nice weather on weekends. She feels that the school has a fun and welcoming atmosphere, which helped make her decision easier.

Choosing between colleges was difficult, Carter feels happy and confident with what school she chose. She is ready for this next chapter in her life and cannot wait to see what her future holds at Cal Poly SLO studying Education.
